Davinci Virtual makes it our business to help entrepreneurs grow their business. There’s a benefit to that: we’re growing ours. What’s good for our clients is also proving to be good for us—we’re growing by leaps and bounds.

In fact, Inc. magazine just announced its 29th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. And guess who’s name is on the list? That’s right. Davinci Virtual has made its way onto the Inc. 500 list in 2010 with its virtual office solutions.

Who would have thought a virtual office company would find its way on this list? Bill Grodnik and Martin Senn, to name a couple. The leaders of Davinci Virtual have expressed confidence in the company’s virtual office network model from day one.

“We’re thrilled to have been named by Inc. magazine as one of the nation’s top 500 entrepreneurial companies. It represents tremendous validation of the consistent hard work, innovation and relentless commitment to customer service,” says Bill Grodnik, CEO of Davinci Virtual. “We’ve experienced continued significant growth over the past five years and we are on track to double revenues again this year.”

Wow! Did he say double revenues again? That’s pretty amazing, considering Davinci’s three-year revenue growth is already a whopping 1,899.5 percent. Davinci Virtual ranks number 141 on the list. If you want to see how Davinci Virtual stacks up against other fast-growth companies in related industries, check out the complete Inc. 500 list in the September 2010 issue of Inc. magazine.

“It is great to see Inc. magazine recognizing our company,” says Martin Senn, COO of Davinci Virtual. “We continue to launch new services, exceed our milestones and expand our presence. This award is a great tribute to our hardworking staff.”

Gmail just made virtual office users cheer with a new service that brings Voice over Internet Protocol to Gmail and links it to the Google Voice app. All this means you can make telephone calls from your Gmail interface. This is a virtual office user’s dream that will save you time and money on international calls.

Gmail users have been chatting it up using their PC’s mic and speakers via a service called Google Talk since 2005. But until today Gmail users couldn’t dial into land lines. Both Gmail users had to be sitting behind their computers and signed into Gmail at the same time in order to talk. Now virtual office users can dial landlines from their computers any time and anywhere.

“Given that most of us don’t spend all day in front of our computers, we thought, ‘wouldn’t it be nice if you could call people directly on their phones?’ said Google Software Engineer Robin Schriebman. “Starting today, you can call any phone right from Gmail.”

Here’s how it works: You can dial a phone number in the same familiar way you dial a normal phone. Just click “Call phone” at the top of your chat list and dial a number or enter a contact’s name. If you have a Google Voice phone number, calls made from Gmail will display this number as the outbound caller ID. You can also choose to receive calls made to this number right inside Gmail.

Calls to the U.S. and Canada will be free for at least the rest of the year, Google said, and promised calls to other countries will be billed at very low rates. Schriebman said Google worked hard to make international calling rates “really cheap.” Calls to the U.K., France, Germany, China, Japan — and many more countries — for as little as $0.02 per minute.

This is a great complement to the virtual office space. A virtual office space gives you a prestigious office address, mail forwarding, a lobby greeter, access to a business center and much more. Now, virtual office users can slash the cost associated with international phone calls using Google’s new service.

What do you get when you cross one of the most respected executive office suites in Garden City, New York with the leading virtual office provider? Even more opportunity for entrepreneurs to tap into the convenience of virtual office space, day offices and conference rooms.

Davinci Virtual and Champion Office Suites just announced good news for the industry: the companies have inked an affiliation agreement. The agreement will allow Champion’s clients and members to use Davinci Virtual’s office space and conference rooms at more than 750 locations around the world—and lets Davinci Virtual clients use the conference rooms and virtual offices at Champion’s New York facility.

Roger Kahn, owner/founder of Champion Office Suites (formerly Intelligent Office of Garden City, New York) called the affiliation a “great opportunity” for his clients. As he sees it, the partnership with Davinci Virtual will let him offer his clients the ease and convenience of quality offices and conference rooms on an hourly basis all over the world.

“Business travel just became easier and more profitable for Champion Office Suites’ client base,” Kahn says. “We have already reaped some benefit from the affiliation. An out-of-town company needed an office in Garden City for a meeting and is renting one from us. This is business and exposure that I would not have had without my affiliation with Davinci. And, a prospective client was thrilled that she could use us in Garden City, New York, while her partner in Cincinnati could use an affiliated facility out there.”

Davinci Virtual doesn’t just align with any serviced office provider. For our latest affiliation, we chose Long Island’s most honored virtual office, executive suite and ready-office facility. Champion Office Suites is located in the heart of Garden City, seconds from the New York State Courts, the Mineola county seat, and the shops and restaurants of the legal and financial center of Long Island. Champion Office Suites offers a full complement of offices and conference rooms available by the hour, the day, the week, or the month.
